What I do:
I work with a select group of families and small business owners specifically in the area of financial planning and wealth management. I educate, work to solve problems, and help position clients to take advantage of potential investment opportunities while focusing on risk management.
Why I get up in the morning:
I love collaborating with families and business owners on items such as business succession planning, financial planning, risk management, investment planning and estate planning. I enjoy teaching and coaching others to pursue personal financial independence. During the course of my financial relationship with people I focus on helping them overcome financial obstacles in an effort to help them see the fruits of their labor such as: funding their children's education, protecting their loved ones with insurance, transferring a business and enjoying their retirement the way they envision.
How I got here:
I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I worked for an independent financial professional through college and transitioned to an internship with Waddell & Reed my senior year. After a short sabbatical to Europe, I started became a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed in 2012.
What I tell my clients:
I believe that those who save and live within their means are much more likely to succeed financially and personally at life. Additionally, that those who have a written investment plan and retirement income plan are more likely to achieve their financial goals.
Who I am:
A friend, an advisor, an Atlanta Falcon's fan, a travel enthusiast who wishes to see the world and how cultures differ, a fitness/weightlifting fan, a golf player, and a cigar lover.
What I offer:
A cup of coffee and a second opinion. By appointment, you’re welcome to come in and visit with me for a while. I’ll ask you to outline your financial situation, goals, objectives, etc. I will ask what your investment portfolio is intended to do for you and if your expectations are being met. Then I can review the portfolio with you.
Based on the information you provide, if I think that your investments continue to be on track with your financial situation, goals, objectives, etc. - despite the market conditions - I’ll gladly tell you so, and send you on your way. If, on the other hand, if I think some of your investments no longer fit your stated goals, objectives, etc., I’ll explain why, in plain English and recommend we schedule a follow-up to review your personal situation in more detail. Either way, the coffee is on me.
